CONTROL VIA VMF-IR REMOTE CONTROL
The VMF-E3 user interface has an infrared receiver that allows it to receive commands from the VMF-IR remote control.
All the commands apart from the SWING function can be sent via the VMF-IR remote control. To send the operating setpoint correctly, the operating season set on the
remote control must correspond to that being used by the thermostat.
When the VMF-E3 receives a correct command, the green LED will fl ash. The thermostat will work with the settings received (setpoint, operating mode, fan speed, etc.)
and the white LED fl ashes to inform the user of the operating status set via the remote control.
If you want the thermostat to work again with the settings made using the knobs on the user interface, just make the modifi cation on the operating mode or setpoint
selector.
The TIMER ON (activate the fan coil in x minutes) and TIMER OFF (deactivate the fan coil in x minutes) functions can be used via the VMF-IR remote control either individ-
ually or combined (refer to the VMF-IR instructions). The VMF-E3 user interface indicates the activation of these functions by illuminating the green LED as shown below:
