10. Programming (Setting up) the "GX107"
a) Introduction
Before you can use the "GX 107", you first have to configure it. Configuration is performed via
simple SMS commands which you send from your mobile phone to the "GX 107" (to the number
of the SIM card of the "GX 107").
This method allows you to activate your "GX 107" from any location, deactivate it or change
the settings.
The text messages (SMS) to program the "GX 107" have the following structure:
<1. Word> <2. Word> <Parameter 1> <Parameter 2> <...> <#PIN>
Important!
You have to attach the set PIN with a prefixed "#" at the end of each command
to each SMS you send to the "GX107" for security reasons. If there is no
<#[PIN]> at the end of your SMS, it will be ignored! Without the correct PIN
number, no answer SMS will be generated!
The individual words and parameters must be separated by a blank space
each.
General Overview:
1. word determines the action, e.g.:
SET = switching on / activation
RESET = switching off / deactivation
TEST = test / check
2. word determines the function, e.g.:
OUT1 = output 1 (relay)
IN1 = input (opto coupler)
ADC = analogue input
3. parameter 1, e.g.
DE or EN = language DE = German, EN = English
4. parameter 2, e.g.
-010 = negative temperature value
5. PIN number
#1513 = PIN number in basic setting (can be changed)
