Preparations before first use
• Check to make sure the appliance is undamaged.
In case of any damage, contact your supplier im-
mediately and do NOT use the appliance.
• Remove all the packing material.
• Clean the body, trays, residue tray and door with
luke-warm water, a mild detergent and a soft
cloth. Don't clean the engine parts.
• Level the appliance.
• Make sure that a clearance of 15 cm is maintained
around the appliance for ventilation of the appli-
ance.
Use
• Connect the plug with an electrical socket.
• Place the residue tray in the appliance
• Place the food you want to dry on the trays. Do
not overload the trays and never lay food on top of
each other.
• Place the trays with food in the appliance and
instal the transparent door.
Tips for use
Drying time will vary according to the following
factors:
- thickness of pieces or slices
- number of trays with food being dried
- volume of food being dried
- moisture or humidity in your environment
- your preferences of drying for each type of dried
food.
Cleaning and maintenance
• After use, unplug the appliance from the power
socket and let it cool down.
• Clean the inside and outside of the body, trays, res-
idue tray and door with luke-warm water, a mild
detergent and a soft cloth. Don't clean the engine
parts.
• Use a brush to remove any encrustations from the
trays.

• Position the appliance in such a way that the plug
is accessible at all times.
ATTENTION! After cleaning the appliance must be
turned on for 30 minutes without anything in it. Any
smoke or odors produced during this procedure are
normal. Please ensure sufficient ventilation. After
the 30 minutes let the machine cool down and rinse
the racks in water and dry all parts. Don't clean the
engine parts.
• Turn on the power switch, the knob switch will
light up red.
• Rotate the temperature dial to the desired tem-
perature.
• When the drying is finished turn of the power
switch and let the appliance cool before removing
the trays with food.
It is recommended to:
- check your food every hour
- note the drying time for future reference
- pre-treated food will give the best effect in drying
- after drying correctly store the food to preserve
quality and nutritions.
- Always work within the food preparation regula-
tions to prevent the containment of harmful bacte-
ria in the dried food.
• Dry all parts with a dry cloth before storing the
dehydrator.
• Every once in a while clean the fan unit with a vac-
uum cleaner.
• Note! Do not clean the appliance with aggressive
chemicals or abrasives in order not to damage the
surface.
