3. Intended Use

The product is suitable for access control, e.g. in the private residential area.
With a camera and a speaker/microphone in the outdoor unit (6 white LEDs are integrated for operation in
the dark) and a colour screen in the mobile unit, you can check who is in front of the door. If the visitor is
desired, you can confirm the door opener and let the visitor in.
The image- and sound transfer between the outdoor unit and the mobile unit takes place wirelessly by
radio.
The voltage/current supply of the mobile phone takes place via 3 NiMH rechargeable batteries of type
AAA/Micro; a charging tray for the mobile unit and a plug-in mains unit are enclosed for charging.
The outdoor unit works at an operating voltage of 9 - 12 V/DC, which must be provided, e.g., via a suitable
mains unit (not enclosed).
A door opener may be connected to the outdoor unit. For this, a relay with a potential-free switching con-
tact is installed (contact resilience max. 12 V, 1 A).
The safety notes and all other information in these operating instructions always have to be observed!
Any use other than that described above can damage the product and may involve additional risks such as
short circuit, fire, electric shock, etc. No part of this product must be modified or converted!
