Important!
The outdoor unit works only with a stabilised direct voltage of 9 - 12 V/DC. Never connect an
alternating voltage (e.g. from a door bell transformer) to the outdoor unit. This will destroy the
outdoor unit, loss of warranty/guarantee!
The relay contact is potential-free. Therefore, a direct voltage as well as an alternating voltage
can be connected here to operate the door opener.
• Attach the cover for the terminal block so that the cables point down. The cover has the corresponding
slots for the cables.
Attach the cover with 4 small screws.
• If you want to operate the outdoor unit with batteries (as mentioned above, there are some functions that
are not available here, such as doorbell button lighting, operation of a door opener and activation of the
camera by mobile unit), insert two type Baby/C batteries with the correct polarity. Then attach the cover
for the battery compartment with 4 small screws.
Use either batteries or an external voltage/power supply.
• Insert the outdoor unit into the weather protection frame as shown in the figure (insert diagonally up,
then fold down).
Then secure the outdoor unit with a screw in the weather protection frame.
• Switch on the external voltage/power supply for the outdoor unit. The lighting of the name tag or the
doorbell button comes on.
c) Labelling Name Tag
• To label the name tag, the transparent plastic cover must be removed. It is only clipped on.
A flat screwdriver can be used to lever off the plastic cover. There is a small notch for this to the right and
left of the plastic cover.
• Label the name tag with permanent marker; alternatively, you can make your own tag (40 x 17 mm) with
a laser printer.
• Insert the name tag into the plastic cover and attach it again.
