9. Commissioning of the Mobile Unit

a) Insert Rechargeable Batteries
• Open the lid of the rechargeable battery compartment of the mobile unit by pushing it out downwards.
• Insert three NiMH rechargeable batteries of type AAA/Micro into the rechargeable battery compartment
in the correct polarity.
Never insert any non-rechargeable batteries, but only rechargeable NiMH batteries.
• Put on the lid of the rechargeable battery compartment so that it will latch.
b) Charging the Mobile Unit
• Connect the low-voltage round plug the two enclosed plug-in mains adapter to the socket on the bottom
of the charging tray.
• Plug the plug-in mains unit into a proper mains socket.
• Put up the charging tray on a stable, level, flat and sufficiently sized area. Protect expensive furniture
surfaces from impressions and scratches and discolouration with suitable pads.
The charging tray may be attached to the wall via two openings on the rear using two suitable
screws and, if required, dowels.
When drilling or tightening screws, ensure that no wires or lines are damaged!
• Put the mobile unit into the charging tray in the right direction.
The included NiMH rechargeable batteries are delivered flat. Therefore, charge the mobile unit
for at least 15 hours before taking it into operation for the first time.
