5. The rinsing process is over when no more discharges are visible. For this it is recommended
that the water escaping from the tapping points be allowed to flow through a mesh with a
width of about 100 μl.
6. After the rinse, the rinse compressor must be turned off.
7. Then close the water feed.
8. Then disconnect the ROPULS from the power supply.
9. The compressor must not fill. The filling process (8 bar) must be completed. The rinsing ma-
chine must be separated from the test pipe, and all connections must be properly installed.
Then a leak test is necessary.
10. After the rinsing process, a rinsing log (certificate) must be made out. The original copy must
remain with the customer and the carbon copy with the company performing the work.

Installation and maintenance instructions for compressor
Starting Operation:
–
Check nameplate to ensure that indicated voltage agrees with supply voltage.
–
Insert plug in respective socket.
The plug coming with the equipment is a VDE 16A.
Operation of the compressor is automatically controlled by the pressure control, which
switches the compressor off once pressure in the tank has reached its maximum, while it
starts again when it has fallen to its minimum.
Proper automatic operation of the compressor is indicated by a compressed air blast
when the motor stops.
7.1
Operation and maintenance
Before you start working, let the compressor run for 10 minutes with the air tap completely open
so that its moving parts can get used to operating.
Important! Please read!
This compressor is not designed or built for long-term use. It is recommended that it not be op-
erated more than 15 minutes continuously.
Set-up
Always set up the compressor at least 50 cm from any obstruction that could hinder the
airflow and thereby the cooling.
7.2
Periodic maintenance
After the first 5 operating hours, check that cap and casing screws (Fig. E1) fit tightly.
Once per week:
Drain the condensation water by opening the tap E (Fig. E2).
Set the container in such a way that the openings of the drain tap points downward. Close the
tap as soon as only air begins streaming out. Because the compressor is lubrication free, the
condensation water can be drained into the sewer.
Once per month (or more often if the device is used in a dusty environment):
Remove the suction filter and replace it (if it is damaged) or clean the filter element (Fig. E3).
Take off the filter cap and remove the filter element.
Wash it with detergent, rinse it with water and completely dry it. Do not operate the compressor
without a suction filter.
Trouble
If the pressure on the pressure display and the manometer (Fig. E4) falls below 5.5 and the
compressor doesn't go on, check to make sure that the start switch on the pressure switch is in
the ON position.
