3 Controls and Displays

Remote control

1 OPEN/CLOSE buttons – Press to open/close the
disc compartment of the CD player and optional CD-
Recorder.
2 VOLUME buttons – Use to adjust the volume.
3 Direct Play buttons – Press to switch to CD, tuner,
tape, MD, CD-R or AUX (auxilliary). If the system is in
standby, the power is also switched on. For CD, tape, MD
and CD-R, playback will start if there's a CD/tape/MD
loaded. This system can't control a component connected
to the auxiliary inputs.
4 SOUND – Press to select bass, treble, balance or sub-
woofer level (use the + and – buttons to adjust the level).
TIMER – Press to access the timer menu for setting the
wake-up, sleep and record timers.
5 1 ¡ – Press to scan backwards/forwards on the
CD/tape/MD currently playing.
6 – + (4 ¢) – Use to switch between menu
options; adjust the sound; change the preset station
number when listening to the tuner; or skip tracks on the
currently playing CD/tape/MD.
7 7 – Press to stop the currently playing CD/tape/MD.
8 CD-R control
MENU – Press to access the menu for the optional CD-
Recorder.
DISP – Press to change the disc information shown in
the optional CD-R's display.
9 (STANDBY/ON) – Press to switch the system on
or into standby.

1 Touches OPEN/CLOSE – Pour ouvrir et fermer le
logement du disque sur le lecteur CD ou la platine CD-R
en option.
2 Touches VOLUME – Pour ajuster l'intensité sonore.
3 Touches de lecture directe – Pour choisir entre
CD, tuner, cassette, MD, CD-R ou AUX (composant
auxiliaire). Si le système est en mode d'attente, il est mis
sous tension. Dans le cas de CD, cassette, MD et CD-R, la
lecture commence si un CD/cassette/MD est déjà installé.
Ce système ne peut pas contrôler un composant, raccordé
aux entrées auxiliaires.
4 SOUND – Pour choisir le niveau de basse, d'aigu, de
balance ou du caisson des graves (ajustez le niveau par
les touches + et –).
TIMER – Pour accéder au menu Minuterie et prérégler
les minuteries de réveil, temporisation et
d'enregistrement.
5 1 ¡ – Pour la recherche avant ou arrière sur le
CD/cassette/MD en cours de lecture.
6 – + (4 ¢) – A utiliser pour permuter entre les
options de menu, ajuster le son, changer le numéro
d'une station préréglée à l'écoute du tuner, ou pour
sauter des plages sur le CD/cassette/MD en cours de
lecture.
7 7 – Pour arrêter la lecture du CD/cassette/MD en cours.
8 Commande CD-R
MENU – Pour accéder au menu pour la platine CD-R
en option.
DISP – Pour changer l'information du disque, indiquée
sur l'affichage du CD-R en option.
9 (STANDBY/ON) – Pour mettre le système en
marche ou en mode Attente.
