5.2 Installation and connection

Assembly
•
Unpack the device and dispose of all packaging material.
•
Prior to first use the griddle should be washed in warm water and a mild cleaning
agent, rinsed, then dried thoroughly .
•
Place the legs on an even surface, then place the grill on them.
•
Mount the spices shelf on the stand in its proper location.
•
Mount the griddle base (lower portion of grill) securely to the stand.
•
Prior to activating the device, check and ensure that all parts are properly mounted.
Indoor setup (without stand)
•
Place the device (without legs and stand) on a level, stable surface which will support
the weight of the device and not tilt.
•
Never place the device on a flammable surface (eg. carpet, tablecloth, etc.).
•
If the device is to be used on a surface which may become damaged by heat over time
a heat-resistant base should be placed underneath.
•
Do not place the device near an open flame, electric or other heater, or any other
source of heat.
•
Do not place any flammable liquids, gases or other similar objects near the device.
•
When using the device in closed spaces care should be taken to ensure adequate
ventilation, using a ventilation device if necessary.
•
The electrical circuit in the socket must be secured to at least 16A. Only connect the
device directly to the wall socket; do not use any extension cords or power strips.
•
Place the device so that the plug is easily accessible and can be quickly removed from
its socket in case of necessity.
