9 - TROUBLE SHOOTING LIST

CAUSES
PTO is engaged
Transmission in not in neutral
Battery is dead
Operator is not seated
Air filter is dirty
Spark plug is disconnected
Throttle lever is not in the START
position
The fuel filter is dirty
Old or dirty fuel in the tank
Grass collector is not se
the correct position
Engine is subjected to
over loading – revving too high
Air filter is dirty
Engine oil level is low
Air intake grills are dirty
Spark plug is breaking down
Fuel filter is dirty/blockage
Fuel cap vent hole is clogged
Cutting blade (or blades) is
damaged or unbalanced
Blade fastening bolts are loose
Engine pulley or a pulley on the
deck is damaged
Control belt is worn, not tensioned,
or is broken
Hydrostatic transmission

Blades are not sharp

SOLUTIONS
Disengage the PTO
Release the travel pedals
Charge the battery
Sit on the seat
Clean and replace if necessary
Check and replace if necessary
Correctly position the lever
Clean or replace if necessary
Contact a Service Center
Check, and reset the correct housing
Slow down
Clean and replace if necessary
Top-up to the correct level
Clean and clear the grills
Clean and replace if necessary
Clean or replace if necessary
Clean and replace if required
Check and sharpen or replace if necessary
Tighten the bolts and reset torque
Inspect and fasten if necessary
Contact an authorized Service Center
Reset the correct tension and/or replace
belt

Sharpen the blades
Reset the correct pressure on tractor

Clean the underside using the water
couplings provided
