adapter in position on handle frame, place the

en securely using the bolt, the washer and the

2. Place the upper handle in position and tighten
securely using the bolt, washer and quick re-
lease lever (Fig. 3).
NOTE
Where applicable, make sure to place the extension
cord restraint hook (Fig. 1.3) in position on the upper
handle before step "2".
GRASS COLLECTOR ASSEMBLY AND FITTING
The grass collector (Fig. 1.6) prevents grass clip-
pings being thrown across your lawn as you mow.
1. Insert the grass collector handle (Fig. 4.1) into
the holes on the top of grass collector (Fig. 4.2)
until it clicks in position.
2. Align the upper and lower grass collector sec-
tions and join. Ensure the clips are located cor-
rectly and securely.
NOTE
For models with plastic lower part, join beforehand
the left and right side together in one piece (Fig. 4.3).
3. Lift the collector flap with one hand. With the
other hand hold the grass collector by the han-
dle and hook it in from above (Fig. 5).
OPERATION
WARNING
Before connecting to the mains supply, always check
the switch is in the off position!
EXTENSION CORD RESTRAINT
We recommend using your mower as outlined in
this section to achieve optimum results and to re-
duce the risk of cutting the mains cable. Place the
bulk of the mains cable on the lawn, close to the
starting point. Feed the cable through the cable
restraint (Fig. 1.3).
ADJUSTING THE CUTTING HEIGHT
This electric lawn mower is equipped with a 6-po-
sition height adjustment system to tailor grass
cutting heights of 25 to 75mm. To obtain your de-
sired cutting height, the front and rear axles are
repositioned on the underside of the lawnmower
body. Adjust using the height adjuster handle (Fig.
1.10) to the desired height.
STARTING THE MOTOR
1. Plug the machine into the electric supply, en-
suring it meets the recommended require-
ments. Electrical power should be supplied via
a residual current device (RCD) with a tripping
current of not more than 30 mA.
2. Before starting the lawn mower, hold the han-
dle assembly with both hands and tilt the han-
dle downward to slightly raise the front of the
lawn mower (Fig. 6). This will reduce the risk of
lawn damage during start-up.
3. Press and hold the safety button (Fig. 1.15) of
