The Canal (ITC In-the-Canal) is a hearing aid that fits in the
ear canal (EAM) using a custom designed shell, where all
the mechanic and electronic parts are inserted into it. It is
powered by a battery and is intended to be fitted from mild
to moderate hearing losses.
MICROPHONE: receives the sound and converts it into an
electrical signal.
AMPLIFIER: digital processor that receives the signal and
adapts it to the parameters introduced for each loss.
RECEIVER: converts the electrical signal back into sound and
transmits it into the user's ear.
