Run the control cable

kit from above through the ASA boom
arm.
Step 7 (Figure 12)
Tie the control cable and the mains cable
together with one of the cords that has
been run through the ASA boom arm (see
Figure 12); if necessary, secure with tape.
Pull these lines with the cord from the wall
forward through the ASA boom arm.
Step 8
On the wall side, reinstall the spacer
1]on the ASA boom arm.
Step 9 (Figure 12)
Tie the other piece of cord on the com-
pressed air hose (see Figure 12) and pull
the compressed air hose from the bottom
forward through the ASA boom arm. En-
sure that the compressed air hose goes
over the spacer.
Note: There are sharp edges on the ASA
boom arm.
Step 10 (Figure 13)
On the ASA boom arm elbow piece, re-
move the rivets by drilling out both blind
rivets on the lower clamp of the alumini-
um tube.
Step 11 (Figure 14)
Loosen the lower clamp

Pull out the old aluminium tube and re-
move the clamp.

Step 13 (Figure 15)
First attach the new clamp that is supplied
[15-2]
to the black hose and then insert
the supplied aluminium
into the hose.
Step 14 (Figure 16)
Secure the aluminium tube with the
clamp.
Step 15 (Figure 17)
Note: Only riveted connections are permit-
ted.
Drill two holes (4 mm) displaced 180°
from one another on the clamp through
the aluminium pipe and the hose. Fix each
of the connections with a rivet.
Step 16 (Figure 18)
Rivet the connections at both holes with
the rivets that are supplied.
Step 17 (Figure 19)
Reattach the elbow piece with the four
screws

to the ASA boom arm.
Step 18
Mount the new EAA energy box on the
ASA boom arm as described in the in-
structions supplied with the EAA energy
box.
Step 19 (Figure 20)
Pull the supplied protective sleeve over
the mains and control cables coming from
the boom arm. To protect the cables from
sharp edges, lay out the protective
sleeves so that they extend approx. 20
cm into the boom arm.
