5. INSTALLATION OF THE LOCK
a - Positioning the templates
Start by marking the axis of the lock on the edge of the door.
Then this line can serve to precisely place the templates "inside" or "outside".
b - Drilling indicated holes
Note that for 4 of the holes, using a wood chisel is necessary to create a rectangle.
c - Installing the bolt
Drill a 22 mm diameter and 80 mm depth hole in the door edge (on the previous marked line) which
will receive the bolt. Insert it and draw the contour of the forend. It will serve to cut a 3 mm flush
mounting; once the flush mounting is cut, then the bolt can be definitively fixed in this position.
d - Installing the reinforcement pin
Screw the guide at the rear face in the "A" hole for the doors which open to the right or in the "B"
hole for the doors which open to the left.
This guide will enter the "O"-shaped bolt to avoid it pulls out.
