Shock Protection
(Figure D)
The projecting guide prevents
any kickback if the hedge trim-
mers come into contact with
hard objects.
Safety Clutch (slip clutch)
The safety clutch protects the
motor and gears against
mechanical damage that can
occur if the cutting blades
become jammed. If the blades
are jammed by a hard object,
switch off the hedge trimmers
and remove the object.
Care
Clean the hedge trimmers blades
after each use and oil with a
biodegradable, vegetable-based
oil.
Storage
Put the hedge trimmers in the
blade protectors to ensure safe
storage and to protect the
blades. The blade protectors
can be fastened to the wall
using screws and dowels. The
blade protectors and hedge
trimmers can be easily removed
again for transportation.
