Verificare la corretta posizione della cintura di sicurezza del
veicolo attorno al seggiolino auto

sia incastrata in alcun modo o attorcigliata

veicolo e che il seggiolino auto KIO Brevi sia correttamente

Assicurarsi che il seggiolino non sia bloccato nella portiera,

Da ricordare: pur essendo progettato e omologato secondo le
normative europee, se il seggiolino auto viene installato in modo
scorretto, può non garantire la giusta protezione del vostro bam-
bino in caso di incidente. Prima di mettersi in viaggio utilizzando
il seggiolino auto KIO Brevi, eseguire sempre tutti i controlli finali
elencati in questo libretto di istruzioni.
Prima di far sedere il bambino sul seggiolino auto, controllare
sempre che KIO Brevi sia posizionato correttamente anche quan-
do è stato lasciato fissato al sedile del veicolo.
PULIZIA E MANUTENZIONE
Attenzione: Non lubrificare i componenti del seggiolino per
bambini, limitatarsi a mantenere pulito. Seguire le istruzioni di
lavaggio indicate sull'etichetta di manutenzione presente sul
prodotto. Manutenzione gruppo cinture del seggiolino auto: in
generale, mantenerlo pulito. Le parti in plastica possono essere
facilmente pulite usando solo acqua e sapone; non usare mai sol-
venti, alcool o detergenti aggressivi. Evitare esposizione diretta e
prolungata alla radiazione solare: può generare viraggio dei colori
dei materiali e dei tessuti.
Al fine di evitare pericolo di soffocamento, rimuovere il rivesti-
mento in plastica prima dell'uso dell'articolo. Questo rivestimento
dovrebbe essere distrutto o tenuto lontano dalla portata dei bam-
bini.

Dear Client, thank you for choosing a Brevi product.
The car seat KIO Brevi conforms to ECE R44/04 for the Group 1,
for children with a weight from 9 kgs to 18 kgs.
All ages given are approximate because all children grow at diffe-
rent rates, the weights given are the main safety issue.
WARNING

This is a "universal" child restraint. It is approved to ece regu-
lation 44.04 for general use in vehicles and will fit most, but
not all, car seats.

Only suitable if the vehicle is fitted with a 3-point static or 3-point
retractor seat belts, approved to un/ece no. 16 or other equivalent
standards.
IMPORTANT
Attention: the car seat KIO Brevi can EXCLUSI-
VELY be installed in forward facing (fig. C) on the
front passenger seat or on the back seat (fig. B)
and it has ALWAYS to be fixed with the 3 points
seat belt (fig.D).
Should your vehicle be equipped with front airbag,
please observe any instructions in the vehicle ow-
ner's manual.
Do not install KIO Brevi backward facing, or sideways facing.
It's recommended to use of the back seat on the opposite side
to the driver.
In case of installation on front passenger seat, it's recommended
to position the seat as far as possible from the dashboard.
The operations of assemblage and installation of KIO Brevi must
be made by adults.
The operations of assemblage and installation, must be made
without the presence of the child in the car seat.
It's important to respect the correct passages of the belts. Do not
ever pass or fasten the seat bests in a different way than shown
in this user manual.
The car seat can be installed on the front passenger seat if it is
equipped with a 3 point safety belt.
The installation of the car seat on the central back seat is possible
if the seat is equipped with a 3 point safety belt.
Never leave the child in the car seat with the safety belts fastened
unattended.
Regularly check, during the moves in the car, that your child and
the car seat are correctly positioned and that the car seat is firmly
and correctly fixed.

This child restraint has been declared "universal" under more
stringent conditions than those applied to earlier designs
which do not carry this notice.
If in doubt, contact either the child restraint manufacturer or
the retailer.
The car seat always has to be installed with a rewindable or
fixed 3 point safety belt, also when it is not used. A seat that is
not fixed could cause wounds to the other passengers in case
of abrupt braking.
The car seat is only adapted to be used in vehicles equip-
ped with rewindable or fixed 3 point safety belt, in compliance
to safety standard UN / ECE n°16 or other equivalent stan-
dards.
Verify that the car seat , once installed and ready to the use,
is not jammed from an any mobile part of the seat or the car
door.
Always check that the safety belt is in tension pulling upwards
the diagonal line and always verify that it doesn't result en-
tangled.
In case of emergency, to quickly free your child from the safety
belts of the car seat press the red button set on the buckle.
