Calculating the gripping force
In addition to the distance (x) to the workpiece to be gripped, the installation position is decisive for
calculating the force. The distance to the mid-point of the workpiece (
datasheet of the EHPS gripper, setting "1" results in a gripping force of about 65 N.
The gripper is only allowed to be operated in setting "1" in this application (default setting).
