i) Alarm setting
The base unit has two different alarm types:
• Single alarm
The alarm is active at the selected time only once, after that, it will
automatically be switched off.
• Weekday alarm
The pre-set alarm will only be activated from Monday to Friday. It will
automatically be deactivated during the weekend (Saturday & Sunday).
To activate the alarm, proceed as follows:
• Press the "
" button once to activate the weekday alarm ("

") alarm.
Depending on the alarm chosen, a corresponding alarm icon will
be displayed indicating that the alarm has been activated.
• Press and hold the "
" button for 3 seconds. The hour digits of the alarm
time start flashing.
• By pressing the " " or " " buttons the hours can be set.
A quick setting can be done holding down the " " or " " buttons
for an extended period of time.
If you do not press any button for a minute, the last setting will be
stored and the alarm time setting mode will automatically be exited.
• Briefly press the "
" button. The minute digits of the alarm time start
flashing.
• Pressing the " " or " " buttons will set the desired minutes.
• Briefly press the "
" button. The pre-set alarm time will be stored and
the unit returns to the normal clock display.
