4. Safety instructions
In the case of any damages which are caused due to failure to
observe these operating instructions, the guarantee will
expire. We do not assume liability for resulting damages!
Nor do we assume liability for damage to property or personal
injury, caused by improper use or the failure to observe the
safety instructions. The guarantee will expire in any such
case!
The base unit of the 3-channel-radio thermometer "RMR233" is
intended for use in dry indoor locations only. Never expose it to
direct sunlight, excessive heat, coldness, moisture or wetness.
However, the included remote sensor can be used in protected
outdoor locations.
The unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the product is
inadmissible because of safety and approval reasons (CE).
Do not leave packing material unattended. Plastic foils/bags,
polystyrene parts, etc. could become dangerous playing material
for children.
Handle the product carefully and do not drop it even from a low
height because impacts or the like can damage it.
Please read the operating instructions completely before operating
or mounting the unit.

13. Disposal
a) General information
Please dispose of the inoperative product according to the current legal
regulations.
b) Battery/rechargeable battery disposal
As an end user you are legally obligated (Battery regulation) to dispose of
exhausted batteries and rechargeable batteries properly; it is not permitted to
dispose of used batteries/rechargeable batteries in the domestic refuse!
Batteries/rechargeable batteries containing harmful substances are
marked with the following symbols which point out that they are not
allowed to be disposed of in the domestic refuse. The markings for
hazardous heavy metals are: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury,
Pb = Plumb (the marking is on the battery/rechargeable battery e. g.
under the dust bin symbols painted left).
You can return your exhausted batteries/rechargeable batteries free
of charge to any authorized disposal station in your area, in our stores
or in any other store where batteries/rechargeable batteries are sold.
Thus, you comply with your legal obligations and make your contribution to
environmental protection.
