Step 3: Pass the Top-Tether through the blue seatbelt guide on one side of the child safety
seat's shell, fasten the Top-Tether to the fastening point of your vehicle (fastening point
indicated in you car's user manual). Tighten the Top-Tether strap, the tension indicator
should be green. Next pass the free strand of the Top-Tether through the blue seatbelt guide
on the other side of the child safety seat.
Then pass the free strand through the gap located at the back of seat behind the headrest
(illustration 1) then through the metal plate (illustration 2), pull and fold back (illustration 3) to
secure the strap strand. Re-tighten the Top-Tether strap and the strap strand if necessary
(illustration 4). The tension indicator should be green, indicating that the Top-Tether is
sufficiently tight.
Step 4: Place your child in the child safety seat, use the 5-point harness to secure your child.
Buckle and properly tighten the harness, make sure the height of the shoulder straps and
the headrest are properly adjusted (refer to points 4.2, 4.3, 4.4, 4.5). Make sure the harness
straps are not twisted and are sufficiently tightened.
