The transmitter is pre-coded
with a unique identification number. All the code parameters are contained in this integrated circuit (external
memory modules are not required) thus making code management more reliable and the system more secure.
The transmitter has an automatic shut down mechanism which cuts in after at least
20 seconds of continuous use (this limits battery consumption).
Key block function
• A key block function has been added to protect the appliance from accidental activa-
tion;
- to activate the function press and hold down "MR" for 8 seconds until the red led starts
flashing, at this point to activate a command you will need to press the required key
three times consecutively;
- to reset the function to standard operation standard press and hold down "MR" for 8
seconds until the red led starts flashing.
Warning! The receivers must only be powered by a safety power pack. The use of
non safety power packs could provoke damage to the system.
Outdoor receiver with LCD display IP55 (fig. 1)
- The outdoor receiver (printed circuit CS1444AB) is fitted with a 20-way terminal board and has a 12/24Vac/
dc electrical connections between binding posts 1-2.
For the installation of the outdoor receiver see the separate instructions for mounting the box (ZVL105.02)
supplied with the product.
Interchangeable channel modules
The receiver can be fitted with up to four MCCMORPHM0 interchangeable channel modules which can set
via software (see setting the relays).
Status inputs
The receiver is fitted with four independent inputs, IN1...4 , which can be used to monitor the status of the
external devices.
You can obtain the status of the inputs either by sending and receiving an SMS or through the gateway.
The 'IN' contacts 1 to 4 can either be wired to a potential free contact or connected to a signal whose direct
current voltage can vary from 0 to 18V; in this case for voltages less than 1.8V the contact is deemed to be
closed and for voltages greater than 1.8V it is deemed to be open.
The status of each input, along with its individual identification number, is shown in real time on the receiver's
display. If for example number '1' appears on the display, this means that the input is 'high' or 'open' while
if a hyphen '-' appears on the display the input is 'low' or 'closed'.
Serial number
Each receiver has its own individual serial number which allows it to access the data exchange gateway.
The serial number cannot be modified . The receiver's serial number is marked on a label on the printed
circuit board (see fig. 1). If for some reason the label has been removed the serial number can be read on
the display by scrolling
number will appear on the display.
Receiver connectivity
Connection to the receiver in order to manage user data can take place in three different ways:
• Hardware hook up: using a usb cable fitted with a "USB MINI" connector
• 2G Mobile network: using a modem connected to the computer fitted with the necessary software.
• 3G-WF Mobile network: using the gateway service supplied by Cardin Elettronica (only for Cardin products)
which allows the receiver to be directly accessed through internet.
For details regarding the setup and use of these processes consult the instructions supplied with the rela-
tive software.
