Downdraft Table Safety
WARNING: Downdraft table is for the collection of wood dust particles ONLY. DO NOT use
this product to collect metal swarf metal particles.
WARNING: Ensure that any extraction system is switched OFF and disconnected from the
downdraft table before cleaning or carrying out any maintenance.
WARNING: This product is for dry use only; do not attempt to pick-up fluids, or use in
high-humidity locations.
WARNING: Keep away from combustible substances. The large amounts of dust and
wood chippings stored within the dust extractor create a fire hazard. Remove debris from the
collector frequently.
WARNING: Use this product only for the purposes for which it is intended. Other
applications may be dangerous, and lead to serious injury and/or property damage.
WARNING: ALWAYS wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye and
respiratory protection when working with this product.

Intended Use
Dust collection attachment for use with the TWX7 Workcentre and clamping module to
create a woodworking downdraft table with the use of a compatible dust extraction system.
Before Use
WARNING: ALWAYS wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye and
respiratory protection when working with this tool.
Assembling the dust collection attachment
1. Insert the four Support Rods (3) into the four Support Rod Sleeves (6) on each corner
of the dust collection attachment (Fig. I)
2. Insert the Dust Outlet Adaptor (5) into the Dust Outlet (2) (Fig. II)
Attaching the dust collection attachment to the
Workcentre clamping module
1. Remove the clamping module from the Workcentre if attached
2. Flip the clamping module to access the underside of the module
3. Loosen but do not remove the screw in the Fixing Dogs (4) (Fig. III)
4. Insert the four Fixing Dogs into the holes in the clamping module (Fig. IV)
5. Tighten the screw in the Fixing Dogs to secure the Fixing Dogs to the clamping module
6. Carefully stretch the Rubber Lip (1) of the dust collection attachment over
the Fixing Dogs (Fig. V)
7. Insert the clamping module into the Workcentre and lock in place (Fig. VI)
8. Attach a compatible dust extraction system to the Dust Outlet Adaptor (5) (Fig. VII)
Carrying out a test run
Before carrying out sanding operations always check the fitting and condition of the
downdraft table
Switch the dust extraction system ON and inspect the downdraft table for air leaks
