Note:
- The keep warm time indicated on the screen is the time left in the keep
warm cycle.
- You can still modify the keep warm time using the +/- buttons
- You cannot change the keep warm temperature
- During the keep warm cycle, if you remove the kettle from its base, the
keep warm parameters you selected remain in the memory but the time
continues to count down. If the kettle is disconnected for more than 10
minutes from the base, it will shut off automatically.
- Do not leave water in the kettle after use.
- When you have finished using the kettle and you put it back on its base,
ensure that the keep warm cycle has been completed and that the
electronic base is switched off in order to prevent the kettle boiling dry.
- You can stop the keep warm cycle at any time by pressing the On-Off
button to switch the kettle off.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
DO NOT LEAVE WATER IN THE KETTLE AFTER USE, BECAUSE
THIS ACCELERATES THE DEPOSIT OF SCALE
TO CLEAN YOUR KETTLE
n Unplug it.
n Let it cool down and clean it with a damp sponge.
Never immerse the kettle, its base, the power cord or the plug in water:
the electrical connections and the switch must not come into contact
with water.
Do not use scouring pads.
TO CLEAN THE FILTER (fig. 5)
n The removable filter is made of a fabric that holds the particles of scale
and prevents them from falling into your cup when pouring. This filter does
not treat or remove the scale from the water. It thus preserves all the
qualities of the water. With very hard water, the filter saturates very quickly
(10 to 15 uses). It is important to clean it regularly. If it is wet, run it under
the water, and if it is dry, brush it gently. Sometimes the scale does not
come off easily: you need to carry out a descaling process.
DESCALING
n Descale regularly, preferably at least once a month, more often if your
water is very hard.
