Loading the appliance
Always let the appliance reach the set temperature before placing food or
beverages inside the appliance. Check the cooling temperature display
and additionally reach into the compartment with your hand to verify the
temperature.
Always cool down food or beverages to their intended temperature
(< 6 °C) before storing in the appliance.
Distribute the food evenly with sufficient surrounding space to ensure
proper air circulation (see illustration 15).
Do not exceed the maximum shelf load stated in the technical data and
the stacking limit (
Food or beverages containing large amounts of acid (e. g. juices, salads,
vinegar, seafood, etc.) must be packed in closed containers or vacuum
sealed.
Ensure the doors are always properly shut and reduce the times of open
doors to a minimum.
Defrosting
Automatic defrosting
The appliance will defrost automatically every 4 hours.
If the ambient temperature is above 20 °C, the scheduled defrosting will
be skipped. In this case the dot below the
seconds.
An active defrosting process is indicated by a lit dot in the display below
the
symbol.
Manual defrosting
A manual defrosting process can be started, when the automatic
defrosting is not active.
Press and hold the button (> 6 seconds) to start the manual defrosting
or stop an active defrosting process.

Cleaning and care
Remove dried food remains with a plastic or wooden spatula.
Clean all plastic surfaces with warm, soapy water.
Use a window cleaner for glass surfaces.
Clean the air filter with a soft brush.
Do not use chemical, alkaline, abrasive or other aggressive detergents as
they might be harmful to the surfaces.
Do not open the housing of the appliance and do not insert any tools into
the air vents.
If the light source is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer,
its service agent or similarly qualified persons.
This appliance does not contain any parts that can be repaired or
serviced by the consumer. Contact a qualified specialist to have it
checked and repaired as necessary.
If the condenser coil is not cleaned 4 times per year, the efficiency of the
appliance will decrease significantly.
Troubleshooting
Suspected malfunctions, errors or damage are often due to causes that the
users can fix themselves. Therefore check the product using below table
before contacting a qualified specialist. In most cases the problem can be
solved quickly.

Following phenomena are not troubles:
1. Murmur of water is heard when the appliance is operating. It is a
normal sound of the coolant circulating in the system.
2. Condensation might be found on the outside of the appliance, which is
caused by high humidity. Follow the cleaning advice described within
these instructions.
