Reaction pipe: For a complete cleaning, the base can be unscrewed.
Venturi pump: The maintenance of the pump should be done at least every two months, if
necessary, even more often:
-
Drain the water out and dismantle the pump. Flush the pump housing and air wheel with clean
water and, if necessary, use a brush. The same should be done with the air injection nozzle.
Important: The air channel in the ceramic axle (Fig. 4, No. 1) and the drillings in the impeller
plate (Fig. 4) have to be clear. Otherwise, the pump might overheat and this would lead to a
total failure.
6. Failures
If the pump fails to operate, check power connection and fuse. If no fault is found, the pump may
be blocked and must be cleaned. See maintenance / cleaning above.
If the pump is noisy, the pump head and rotor (Fig. 4) have to be cleaned. If the impeller is
damaged, it has to be changed.
The ratio between supplied air and the water volume is not correct.
Problem:
Possibly, the air injection nozzle is clogged or the pump chamber containing the air
Cause:
wheel is dirty.
Dismantle the venturi pump, clean it thoroughly, carefully clean the air injection
Action:
nozzle with a thin brush or blunt instrument and re-assemble the pump again.
The skimmer skims off too heavily. The foam cup is filled too fast.
Problem:
The water level in the filter sump is not optimal.
Cause:
Adjust water level.
Action:
the water level in the skimmer is too high.
Cause:
Ref. to point 4 and adjust the water level.
Action:
7. Warranty
Should any defect in material or workmanship be found within 12 months of the date of purchase
AB Aqua Medic GmbH undertakes to repair or, at our option, replace the defective part free of
charge – always provided the product has been installed correctly, is used for the purpose that was
intended by us, is used in accordance with the operating instructions and is returned to us carriage
paid. The warranty term is not applicable on the all consumable products.
Proof of Purchase is required by presentation of an original invoice or receipt indicating the dealer's
name, the model number and date of purchase, or a Guarantee Card if appropriate. This warranty
may not apply if any model or production number has been altered, deleted or removed,
unauthorised persons or organisations have executed repairs, modifications or alterations, or
damage is caused by accident, misuse or neglect.
We regret we are unable to accept any liability for any consequential loss.

or any of its component parts, was not originally designed and / or manufactured for the market in
which it is used. These statements do not affect your statutory rights as a customer.
