3. Ceiling Fan Assembly

Loosen the two Phillips Head Set Screws in the Motor
Coupler for installation of the Downrod (Figure 9) .
Seat the Downrod in the Motor Coupler (Figure 9) .
3.12
Align the Clevis Pin holes in the Downrod with the holes
in the Motor Coupler .
Install the Clevis Pin and secure with the Hairpin Clip
(Figure 10) .
The Clevis Pin must go through the holes in the Motor
Coupler and Downrod . It is critical that the Clevis Pin
in the Motor Coupler is properly installed and securely
tightened .
WARNING
!
It is critical that the clevis pin in the motor coupler is
properly installed and securely tightened. Failure to
verify that the pin is properly installed could result in
the fan falling.
