CONNECTIONS
On the bracket there is a terminal strip that allows to wire the following signals:
BUS:
two terminal pins pairs for connection to the non-polarized bus.
P:
terminal pins pair for connection of fl oor call button
S+, S-:
terminal pins pair for connection of additional ringer
BRACKET CONFIGURATION
USER:
user code
Set a number from 0 to 31, according to the following fi gure and rules:
•
in the system must not be present apartments with the same user code;
•
monitors in parallel in the same apartment must have the same user code;
•
the user codes of a same COLUMN must be consecutive.

Apartment internal code
Set a number from 0 to 3, according to the following fi gure and rules:
•
If in the apartment there is only one monitor, the internal code must be set to 0;
•
in apartments can be connected up to 4 monitors in parallel with the same user code and different internal
codes.

The apartment internal code identifi es the single devices of the same user. This means that intercom calls can
be addressed to the single internal code in the same apartment.
In case of intercom calls to different apartments, in case of calls coming from door units and in case of fl oor
call, all the user monitors always ring.
Consider also the following information:
•
after receiving a call, the internal codes 0 and 2 ring immediately and immediately afterwards will ring the
internal codes 1 and 3;
•
if the call comes from a video door phone unit, the monitor whose bracket is confi gured as internal code 0
turns on; the monitors connected to other brackets with the same user address, but with different internal
codes, are able to turn on, taking the place of the internal code 0 monitor, by pressing the button "•"
("video transfer" function); the transfer causes the turn-off of the monitor previously on.

The default confi guration is: USER 31, DER 0, presence of BUS terminator:

BUS TERMINATION
On the bracket there is a switch called S1 that allows to terminate correctly the BUS.

To perform a correct BUS termination it is necessary to follow the general rules below:
•
if to the splitter output is connected only one bracket, the line termination must be on;
•
if to the splitter output are connected devices in in/out confi guration, the line termination must be activated

on the last device only;

•
every bracket connected in in/out confi guration must have the termination not active;
•
the bracket connected at the end of the column must have the termination on and must not be connected
User
to the splitter.
