INSTALLATION
WARNING:
The unit must be connected to a WC pan with
horizontal outlet spigot conforming to EN33 or EN 37 norms.
The SANIBEST should be installed so that it is accessible
for possible maintenance
The macerator has fastenings preventing it turning or from
floating.

machine.
2 - Fix with the cable tie supplied.

the black rubber pipe 7 . Fix the base of the elbow in

D
4 - Cut off the end of the sleeve, if necessary, to suit the
diameter of the discharge pipe and use a collar
WARNING:
Protect pipes against freezing with appropriate
insulation. If the toilet is installed in an unheated location
during freezing periods protect it as follows:
• Shut off the water supply,
• Activate one cycle without water,
• Pour antifreeze in the bowl (2 litres),
• Flush the toilet.
WARNING:
Any bends in the discharge pipe run should be
smooth radius bends. If using plastic pipe two 45 degree
offsets can be used to form a smooth bend.
NOTE:
We would recommend that a drain-off point is ins-
talled to allow the discharge pipework to be drained down
before any service work.
NOTE:
To avoid siphoning, install a an anti-siphon valve at
the high point of the installation.
5 - We advise installing a drain valve at the low point to
facilitate maintenance.
6 - If the end of the discharge pipework is much lower than
the unit, install a riser pipe about 80mm long from the
highest point of the discharge run and fit an air admit-
tance pipe on top (capable of withstanding at least
15psi pressure.) to break the syphon.
End the outlet pipe at the waste stack.
• All horizontal piperuns require a 1:100 fall.
• If a vertical lift is required, this must be installed at the
start of piperun and a 1:100 fall given to the pipe from
the high point to the drain.
• All bends should be smooth/slow (eg pulled bens or
2 x 45 degree bends together). Do not use 90° elbows.
• If the horizontal piperun exceeds about 10 metres, increase
the size from 22 mm to 32 mm from that point onwards.

CONNECTION OF THE OTH ER SANITARY APPLIANCES
