Single pipe system with air separator
• The use of a single pipe system with air separator is highly
recommended
•
The single pipe system and air separator installation is made up
as follows:
air separator filter
1 conduit between the oil tank and the air separator
oil filter
oil flow
burner + 2 conduits between the air separator and
the burner
oil tank
• Strong points:
Reduces the quantity of air present in the oil (in the event
of slight leaks in the single pipe conduit)
Eliminates the air contained in the oil before it reaches
the pump. This optimises pump operation and reduces
the through-flow of oil when the burner stops
Optimises the fuel spray cone (no fouling of the
electrodes)
Reduces clogging of the oil filter
Oil quality more stable (no oil return to the tank)
Makes it possible to use conduits with a smaller cross-
section (only takes in the required oil quantity)
