OPERATION
• Opens and closes automatically when sensor detects hands.
For the 20464 models, the valve opens and closes by raising/lowering the lever then by presenting
hands in the detection zone. Comfort shut-off delay is 3 seconds.
• Anti-blocking safety: a timed shut-off ensures the valve closes after 45 seconds if an object is placed
in front of the detection field. Once the object is removed the valve operation will reset automatically.
• Duty flush - can be adjusted: automatic duty flush for ~60 seconds every 24 hours after the last use.
• Option: the automatic duty flush can be overridden or changed to every 12 hours
(see ADJUSTMENTS section).
INSTALLATION
• Tap: supply with cold or mixed water.
• Mixer: Supply with cold water and hot water at 70°C maximum
(we recommend 45°C to avoid the risk of scalding); balance the CW and HW pressures (ΔP < 1 bar).
• Maximum supply pressure: 8 bar. (Recommended dynamic pressure: 1 - 5 bar). Take care not to pinch
the flexibles (Fig. C).
• To avoid interference from infrared beams do not install two electronic mixers or taps opposite each other,
opposite a mirror or shiny object. Do not install two TEMPOMATIC mixers/taps or 20464 mixers
opposite each other.
• Electrical supply: 2 x 3V Lithium batteries, supplied in the electronic unit. To preserve the battery life,
the ambient temperature should be ≥ 5°C.
• IP65 waterproof electronic unit 1 (Fig. A & B).
Deck-mounted model (Fig. A):
• Drill a Ø 34mm hole.
• Mount the mixer/tap body onto the washbasin and tighten the two screws 2 onto the fixing flange.
• Ensure a suitable waterproof seal between the mixer and the work plan appropriate to the type
of installation.
• Complete the installation as shown in the CONNECTION section.
Panel-mounted model (Fig. B):
• Drill a hole Ø 30mm.
• Mount the sensor 3 on the panel, approximately 50mm above the top of the washbasin.
• Mount the spout 4 on the panel in line with the sensor. The distance between the top of the washbasin
and the base of the spout must be at least 150mm.
• Complete the installation as shown in the CONNECTION section.
Installing the spout (for TEMPOMATIC PRO):
• Remove the white plastic cap, place the spout on the mixer/tap and screw into place.
REMEMBER
• Our mixers/taps must be installed by professional installers in accordance with current
regulations and recommendations in your country, and the specifications of the fluid engineer.
• Sizing the pipes correctly will avoid problems of flow rate, pressure loss and water hammer
(see calculation table in our brochure and online at www.delabie.com).
• Protect the installation with filters, water hammer absorbers and pressure reducers to reduce the
frequency of maintenance (recommended pressure from 1 to 5 bars maximum).
• Install stopcocks close to the mixer/tap to facilitate maintenance.
• The pipe work, stopcocks, bib taps and all sanitary fittings should be checked at least once a year,
and more frequently if necessary.
