ANTI-SCALDING SAFETY VIA MAXIMUM TEMPERATURE LIMITER (mixers)
Central lever (Fig. J):
The temperature limiter is fixed in position 14 at the factory. It is possible to change it to position 13
to limit the temperature, or remove it to override the limiter:
• Isolate the water supply.
• Loosen the locking screw using a 2.5mm Allen key and remove the lever 16.
• Carefully pull-out the sensor 17 a few centimetres.
• Remove the limiter 15 using a 2mm Allen key.
Conventional side control lever (Fig. K):
The product is delivered with the maximum temperature limiter engaged. To override it:
• Isolate the water supply.
• Loosen the grub screw at the back of the mixer body using a 4mm Allen key to remove the temperature
selection lever.
• Prise upwards (e.g. with a flat-headed screwdriver) to remove the coloured limiter 18.
Extended side lever LH (Fig. L):
The product is delivered with the maximum temperature limiter engaged. To override it:
• Isolate the water supply.
• Loosen the grub screw at the back of the mixer body using a 4mm Allen key to remove the temperature
selection lever.
• Prise upwards (e.g. with a flat-headed screwdriver) to remove the limiter 19.
• Position the limiter 19 in location 20 to achieve hot water at temperature of the system.
Lever L. 100mm:
The product is delivered with the maximum temperature limiter engaged.
To adjust the pre-set temperature, unclip and then reposition the index ring located beneath the lever:
• To access the index ring (Fig. M): unscrew the grub screw 21 using a 2.5mm Allen key and remove
the lever.
• To adjust the hot water setting (Fig. N): unclip the black temperature limiter 22 and turn clockwise
to reduce the hot water temperature, or anti-clockwise to increase it.
Replace the black index ring 22.
Be careful with the position of the lever 25: the axis of the lever should always align with the axis
of the moveable limiter 23.
Once the lever is in position, check that the maximum temperature is suitable.
• To return to the maximum HW position: align the marker on the black index ring 23 with the marker
on the red index ring 24.
Be careful with the position of the lever 25: the axis of the lever should always align with the axis
of the moveable limiter 23.
