SUGGESTIONS AND/OR ADVICES ABOUT USE AND MAINTENANCE
■ Read carefully the indications you will find together with the appliance.
■ The appliance must be switched on 8 hours before the cream-supply.
■ Clean the appliance at the end of the use. After each use (or, anyhow, at the end of the day) dismantle and clean the
parts with washing-up liquid and hot water.
Note well: The gaskets may be left in their position while removing the parts.
Rinse the parts with cold water, dry them up and reassemble.
Screw the locking screws of the pump, without striving.
Before using the appliance again, be sure that the temperature in the cell, indicated by the thermometer, is lower or
equal to 6°C.
The homogeneity of the lower temperature of each part is essential for the good functioning of the appliance.
■ Insert liquid cream (with a minimum of 30% of fats) at a preservation temperature of 4°C. The cream doesn't have to
be lumpy or previously frozen. Do not add or mix sugar with the cream because the grains could irreparably damage
the parts of the pump.
■ In case the supply of the whipped cream does not occur after 3 attempts of 20 second each, pour 1 or 2 spoons of
liquid cream into the funnel of the cream-air mixer (where the pipe comes into the pump).
IN CASE OF FAILURE OF CREAM SUPPLY, CARRY OUT THE FOLLOWING CHECKS:
■ The cream must be fresh, good-quality and with a minimum of 30% of fats; it doesn't have to be lumpy or previously
frozen.
■ The temperature in the cell, at the maximum speed, doesn't have to exceed 6~8°C. If the appliance does not reach
the temperature after 8 hours from the switching on, you have to operate on the refrigerant circuit: this operation
must be executed by qualified personnel.
■ The gaskets, shown in the exploded view, must be all present, fixed correctly in their own place, in good condition,
lacking in cracks or tearing. We suggest you to replace often the gaskets with the special KIT, in order to achieve a
right maintenance of the appliance.
■ In case the pump does not sufficiently spin, be sure that:
1. The gears are correctly fixed on the pump. Moreover, they are usually assembled outside the appliance and
should be able to hand spin freely.
2. The parts of the pump and the gears have to be lacking in pushes or deformations. At any rate, arrange for their
replacement.
3. The drive belt, placed inside the back panel, does not slip. In this case, apply to specialized personnel only.
WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE ON THE APPLIANCE. THE BELT AND THE
GASKETS ARE THE MOST PERISHABLE PARTS.
