Operation

1 Wipe end of coupler (9) and fitting to be
lubricated with a clean cloth.
2 Attach coupler (9) to lubrication fitting.
3 Operate lever (2) using either volume or
pressure mode until required amount of
product is dispensed.
4 Remove coupler (9) from fitting by moving
coupler (9) from side to side.

Load

Cartridge
1 Pull follower rod (12) out, then slowly
return to eject empty cartridge.
2 Unscrew head (11) from
cylinder (6) († Fig. IPB 12).
3 Pull follower rod (12) out and engage
groove on follower rod (12) with slot in
cylinder cap (5) († Fig. 23).
4 Remove plastic cap from grease
cartridge and discard.
5 Insert cartridge into cylinder (6), open
end first, until metal lip seats.
6 Remove seal from cartridge and discard.
7 Tighten head (11) onto cylinder (6).
8 Disengage follower rod (12) from slot in
cylinder cap (5).
9 Turn handle (1) 90 degrees and push into
cylinder (6).
10 Refer to Priming (page 5).
Suction
1 Unscrew head (11) from
cylinder (6) († Fig. IPB 12).
2 Insert head of cylinder (6) below surface
of grease.
3 Pull follower rod (12) away from cylinder
cap (5) until groove (13) is visible
(† Fig. 24).
4 Engage groove (13) in follower rod (12)
with slot (14) in cylinder cap (5).
5 Screw head (11) onto cylinder.
6 Disengage follower rod (12) from
cylinder cap (5).
7 Push follower rod (12) into cylinder (6).
8 Refer to Priming (page 5).
