Adjusting the sound

You can adjust the sound characteristics to your
preference.

Select the item you want to adjust.
Each time you press the
SEL
button, the adjustable items
change as follows:
For KS-FX43R/KS-FX483R/KS-FX480R:
BAS
(bass)
VOL
(volume)
For KS-F383R/KS-F380R:
BAS
(bass)
VOL
(volume)
Indication To do:
BAS Adjust the bass.
TRE Adjust the treble.
FAD* Adjust the front
and rear speaker
balance.
BAL Adjust the left
and right speaker
balance.
LOUD** Boost low and high
frequencies to
produce a well-
balanced sound
at low volume level.
VOL Adjust the volume. 00 (min.)
* If you are using a two-speaker system, set the fader
level to "00."
** For KS-FX43R/KS-FX483R/KS-FX480R.
For KS-F383R/KS-F380R, press LOUD to turn on
or off the loudness function.

Adjust the setting.
To increase the level or turn on
the loudness
To decrease the level or turn off
the loudness
Ex.: When you adjust "TRE" (treble)
To turn on or off the loudness function
(For KS-F383R/KS-F380R)
Each time you press LOUD,
LOUD
the loudness function turns
on and off alternately.

Repeat steps 1 and 2 to adjust the
other items.
Note:
Normally the +/– buttons work as the volume control.
So you do not have to select "VOL" to adjust the
volume level.
