3. The word INSTALL will appear on the console when the correct PIN code has been
entered.
4. Press OK.
5. Press the Test button (1) of your smoke alarm until the smoke alarm emits an audio
signal. Your console will react by beeping twice. The display on the console now reads
"ZONE x SET" and "RMOT x SET".
6. If you are using more than one smoke alarm, you must give each sensor a unique sensor
address and registering it with your console. It is best not to alter the Emergency address
for your SD90 sensors.
7. Press the Clear button to return to the main menu. Press Clear again to exit the menu.
5. Registering the smoke alarm with the MS9480, MS9770, SC2200, SC2700, SC2800 and
Protector 28 consoles (advanced use)
Follow the following steps:
1. Open the lid on the right hand side of the console of your security system.
2. Set the mode switch to INSTALL. All the indicators of the occupied zones will light up.
3. Press the Test button (1) of your smoke alarm until the smoke alarm emits an audio
signal. Your console will react by beeping twice. An extra zone indicator will light up.
8. If you are using more than one smoke alarm, you must give each sensor a unique sensor
address and register it with your console. It is best not to alter the Emergency address for
your SD90 sensors.
4. Set the mode switch to RUN1 or RUN2. The zone indicators will go out.
6. Returning to the factory settings
You can reset the SD90 factory default as follows:
1. Keep the Test button (1) pressed and quickly press the Reset button (4). The yellow program
LED (5) will light up.
2. Release the Test button. After 3 seconds, continue with step 3.
3. Quickly press the Test button once. The LED will light up whenever you press the Test button.
4. Wait until the LED flashes again.
5. Quickly press the Test button again. The LED will light up whenever you press the Test
button.
6. Check the new settings by pressing the Reset button once. The LED should now flash twice.
