ADDITIONAL SITE PREPARATION
When using K-T15880(M) or K-T15881(M) spouts,
provide screw hole to prevent spout twist: Center of
anti-twist screw hole is located 3/4" (2cm) from spout hole
center as shown.
2. INSTALL VALVING (ALL INSTALLATIONS)

For installations with 8" (20.3cm) centers using copper
tubing, (1/2" nominal, 5/8" O.D.) cut two pieces of tubing
to 2-7/8" (7.3cm) in length. For non-8" (20.3cm) center
installations, adjust tubing lengths as necessary.
NOTE: Leave protective sleeve on spout supply tube until
spout installation. This is an O-ring sealing surface which
may be damaged when unprotected.
INSTALL SPOUT SUPPLY TUBE
Slide brass washer from bottom of spout supply tube over
threads until washer reaches supply tube shoulder.
Ensure countersunk holes in washer are facing up.
Insert spout supply tube through mounting hole from top
of deck/rim. Ensure flat portion of washer faces forward.
Spout supply tube will be suspended by washer.
Slide a brass washer on spout supply tube from
underneath deck/rim and thread on nut, with flat portion
of washer facing forward. Tighten nut.
For all installations except rim mount, secure top brass
washer to deck using the two wood screws. If rim mount
installation has the addition of plywood, secure bottom
brass washer with the wood screws.
NOTE: Leave protective sleeve on spout supply tube until
spout installation.
INSTALL VALVE BODIES
Thread one mounting nut, flange side up, on each valve
body.
NOTE: Mounting surfaces less than 1" (2.5cm) thick re-
quire the dished washers in the following step; other
installations require only the mounting nuts.
Install dished washer with flared side up onto each valve
body.
Insert the 2-7/8" (7.3cm) long copper tubes between the
valve bodies and 1/2" (1.3cm) tee.
DO NOT solder connections yet.
NOTE: Orient the valve body with blue ring so it is on the
right side when you are facing the front of the faucet.
