NOTE: Tiled-deck installations must add washer per
following step. All other installations, omit following step.
Remove cardboard plaster guard from spout supply tube.
Slide washer over spout supply tube oriented with flat side
toward front.
Place O-ring around groove on spout sleeve assembly.
Back off setscrews in spout sleeve assembly and with a
twisting motion, press spout sleeve assembly onto spout
supply tube to deck/rim or tile surface. Align spout sleeve
assembly so setscrews are not to the back of spout supply
tube.
Tighten setscrews.
ALL OTHER INSTALLATIONS
Spout supply preparation: Place O-ring around groove
on spout sleeve assembly.
Back off setscrews in spout sleeve assembly.
With a twisting motion, place spout sleeve assembly over
spout supply assembly and push to deck surface.
Align spout sleeve assembly so setscrews are not to the
back of spout supply tube.
Tighten setscrews.
If spout supply tube needs to be cut, cover spout sleeve
assembly before cutting to prevent chips from being
lodged in the O-ring.
Measure and cut off supply tube 1/2" (1.3cm) MAX. above
top of spout sleeve assembly. Remove burrs.
Uncover spout sleeve assembly. Carefully clean off any
debris. Be sure to purge supply tube of debris before
connecting spout.
