Move the unit to its place of operation. When moving the piston rod (Fig. 3c), keep pumping (make approxima-
tely 20 full movements), until the safety valve is activated (Fig. 3a/pos. 1). When the safety valve (Fig. 3a/pos.
1) is open, it means that the maximum pressure in the tank has been reached.
Now the device is ready for connecting to a drilling rig, for example.
Use the supplied water nozzle, if you need to sprinkle or spray over a larger area.
Make sure that the nozzle is closed, before connecting it to the hose. To this end, hold the body of the
nozzle and turn its casing anticlockwise, until it is locked.
If closed, press the nozzle into the quick coupling, until you hear the characteristic "clicking" sound. The flow of
liquid is regulated by turning the casing of the nozzle. This infinitely variable adjustment ranges from a conical
jet to a straight jet.
After disconnecting the nozzle from the hose, the STOP valve inside the quick coupling will automatically cut off
the flow of liquid through the hose. The pressure in the tank will be maintained. The pressure level in the tank will
gradually decrease, during operation. Restore the pressure in the tank by pumping.
After finishing work, it is absolutely necessary to de-pressurize the tank – see the section PREPARING FOR
OPERATION.
To transport the device, use the shoulder strap or the piston rod's handle, the latter of which must be locked
in-between the cylinder handles. The pump must be tightly screwed into the head, regardless of the applied
method of transport.
STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE
After each use, rinse the device thoroughly with clean water. De-pressurize the tank (Fig. 1/pos. 6) by
pulling the head of the safety valve (Fig. 3a/pos. 1). Screw the pump out (Fig. 1/pos. 3), pour clean water
(approx. 1/4 of the tank's capacity) into the tank (Fig. 1/pos. 6), screw in the pump (Fig. 1/pos. 3) to obtain
a tight connection, and then pump the tank. Re-spray the previously sprayed areas to flush the system of the
device. When done, de-pressurize the tank (Fig. 1/pos. 6) using the safety valve (Fig. 3a/pos. 1) and screw
the pump out (Fig. 1/pos. 3). Drain the remaining water from the tank.
Store the device WITHOUT PRESSURE at the temperature from +5
sunlight, away from radiators and out of the reach of children. It is recommended to unscrew the pump (Fig. 1/
pos. 3) from the head (Fig. 1/pos. 2).
If the device will be out of operation for a longer period of time, some maintenance
is required. To this end, remove any residual agent from the device, rinse it with
clean water, and then lubricate the seals with silicone oil (supplied with the device).
In addition, all movable components and seals must be periodically lubri-
cated with silicone oil. This applies in particular to the seals indicated by the
arrows in the following figure.
