1 GENERAL

1.1 Description

By means of the RM-026 software your computer becomes a tool of
communication with the PROMAX instrument, allowing to carry out the following
operations simply and quickly:
•
Transmit / Receive / Modify / Save Channel Plan Groups.
•
Upgrade the PROMAX instrument main firmware.

1.2 Hardware and software requirements

In order to be able to use the program correctly, the following requirements need
to be met:

Hardware requirements
Minimum configuration:
*
IBM-compatible computer, 486 or higher.
*
10 Mbytes available on the hard disk (variable, depending on the files
of data available).
*
Pointing device or mouse (not essential, but highly recommended).
*
Serial port COM1, COM2, COM3 or COM4 available.
•
Software requirements
In order to be able to run the acquired software it is essential to have, Windows®
95/ 98/ ME/ 2000/ XP operating system.
