Fitting instructions
1)
Disassemble the bumper and permanently remove the metal buffer beam. Disassemble the hindmost
exhaust damper and heat shield. Remove the floor-covering and de side-wall covering in the trunk.
2)
On the left side of the trunk are 2 indentations provided in the base plate, drill these points through with
ø10,5mm and enlarge these drillings till ø25mm. Insert the tubes (1) in the chassis beams and place the
plate (2) with points (A) on the tubes, insert the bolts. Drill points (B) through with ø10,5mm, place
plate (3) at the bottom of the vehicle but do not tighten the bolts.

On the right side of the trunk are also 2 indentations provided which have to be drilled through with
ø10,5mm, those marks can be under the anti-vibration plate, remove this plate where the mounting plate
comes. Place the mounting plate (4) with points (C) on the drilled holes and insert the bolts. Drill
points (D) and (E) through with ø10,5mm. Insert the bolts by (D) and (E) and place the plates (5 and 6)
at the bottom of the vehicle. Insert the nuts and the security washers but do not tighten.
4)
Place the towbar wit (A) against the underside of the chassis beam and with (C) against the base plate of
the trunk, insert the nuts and the security washers and screw everything
5)
Make an incision in the heat shield (see photo) as also in the bumper according to drawing. Re-
assemble the bumper on the vehicle.
6)
Assemble the ball together with the socket holder and the security shackle.
Disassembling the bumper
- 4 plastic push-buttons at the bottom of the bumper
- 2 small screws on the entrance of the trunk on top of the bumper
- 2x3 push-buttons and 2x1 screw on the splashboard in the wheel cases
- loosen the sides with a click
Note
Please consult your cardealer or owners manual for the maximal permissable towing mass.
Remove any bitumen coating on the fastening position for the tow bar.
When drilling, be carefull not to damage any brake lines, electrical wiring or fuel lines.
