Setting and changing configurations

11.7.1

Setting parameters

1. In the System view [Docking Station area, select [module] > [Port].
2. Set the desired parameters in the information area. For further information see:
"Configuration role", page 147.
11.7.2

Copying Port configuration

The Port configuration copy wizard can be used to copy a selected Port
configuration to any number of Ports of the same module type.
1. Select [Docking Station] > [module] and the [Port] to be copied.
2. Select
 The Port configuration copy wizard is displayed.
3. Select the checkboxes of the Ports to which you want to copy the configuration.
4. If applicable, select the Copy descriptions checkbox.
This function copies the parameter values for the channel tag, instrument name,
instrument part number, sensor name, and sensor part number.

Selecting a transmitter

A Dräger transmitter can be selected with the device wizard. The parameters are
automatically assigned with the default values of the transmitter depending on the
transmitter. The default values can be changed after exiting the device wizard.
The user needs to check the accuracy of the configuration and the accordance with
the configuration of the connected transmitter even when using the device wizard.
1. Select [Docking Station] > [Module] > [Port].
2. Select
 The gas transmitter selection wizard is displayed.
3. Select the transmitter from the Select device dropdown list.
 The default parameters are displayed.

Selecting a measured gas

A measured gas can be selected with the measured gas wizard. The parameters
are automatically assigned with the default values of the measured gas depending
on the measured gas. The default values can be changed after exiting the
measured gas wizard.
1. Select [Docking Station] > [Module] > [Port].

 The measured gas selection wizard is displayed.
