The system overview displays the system layout in a tree structure. Selecting a
system component displays the relevant data in the information area, where they
can also be changed if necessary. Clicking on > or double-clicking on a system
component displays the subordinate structure.
11.2.2

Changing configuration settings

To change configuration settings, the data must be transferred from the REGARD
system to the configuration software using a communication interface. If a
connection exists, modified configuration data can be sent directly back to the
system. Otherwise, there is the option of saving settings as a file on the PC and, if
necessary, sending them to the system at a later date or copying them to the
system via a USB stick.
When exporting and saving the configuration settings from a system with HART
channels, any available transmitter configurations are also exported and saved.
This means that a warning may be displayed in case of deviations between system
and transmitter configurations even if this configuration is changed offline.
