Software modes of operation

The configuration software can be used with an Ethernet connection to the system
during operation (online) or without a connection to the system (offline).
11.3.1

Offline configuration mode

The following application cases can be changed in this mode:
– Creating new system configurations
– Editing/changing system configurations
– Opening and saving system configuration files
– Creating a report of the offline configuration (only REGARD 7000)
11.3.2

Online configuration mode

The following application cases can be changed in this mode:
– Editing/changing system configurations
– Opening and saving system configuration files
– Downloading the system configuration

1. Select File > New system.
✓ An empty new system is created in the system view. If a system has previously
been created but not saved, the Discard changes? dialogue is displayed.
