Light ring display and horn sound
The light ring display and the horn sound are prioritised as follows in the system (list
with ascending priority):

The blue light can be switched off or dimmed via a dip switch in the Base Unit if
necessary.
The MUTE switch can be used to suppress the horn sound (factory setting).
When the MUTE switch is selected, the light ring is illuminated yellow and the SFR
is energized.
The following must be observed for the light ring display:
– The alarm state of the channel is frozen as long as an error is present on the
channel. Once the error has been rectified, the alarm state is displayed once
again or updated where applicable.
– The alarm state of the channel is frozen as long as the Inhibit state is present on
the channel. Once the Inhibit state has been reset, the alarm state is displayed
once again or updated where applicable.

User roles
8.1
User role concept
REGARD 3000 has a function and rights management oriented to the user roles.
Individual users can be created and must be assigned one of 5 roles.
Corresponding higher-level functions and rights are available for selecting the role.
Multiple users can be assigned to one role. Access to the system is protected by
individual passwords for all users.
All controls that are not available for a specific role are hidden.
