13. Resetting the factory codes
Did you forget the master code or programming code and want to change it? Use the DPC
jumper (see connection, point a)!) to restore the factory code 1234.
For this purpose, proceed as follows:
1. Disconnect the voltage supply.
2. Plug the DPC jumper to position "ON".
3. Restore the voltage supply. Now the yellow LED blinks continuously and the buzzer also
sounds continuously.
4. Put the DPC jumper back to "OFF". Now the yellow LED stops blinking and the buzzer goes
off.
5. The factory code 1234 is restored.
With this restoring operation, you can reconstruct the factory code (programming
code) 1234. All other saved data or entries are not changed.
14. Care and cleaning
• This device is maintenance free.
• The outside of the device should only be cleaned with a soft dry cloth or a soft brush.
• Never use aggressive cleansing agents or solvents since these may damage the surface of
the housing or impair its operation.
