● Check the power cable of the power tool and, if applicable, extension leads
regularly for damage. Have these renewed by qualified experts or an authorised
REMS customer service workshop in case of damage.
● Only use approved and appropriately marked extension leads with a suffi-
cient cable cross-section. Use extension leads up to a length of 10 m with
cable cross­section 1.5 mm², from 10 – 30 m with cable cross­section 2.5 mm².
NOTICE
● Make sure that REMS cooling lubricants are not disposed of undiluted in
the drain system, ground water or ground. Unused thread­cutting material
should be handed in to responsible disposal companies. Waste code for cooling
lubricants containing mineral oil (REMS Spezial) 54401, for synthetic materials
(REMS Sanitol) 54109. Observe the national regulations.

WARNING
REMS Turbo K is intended for sawing steel, stainless steel, nonferrous metal, light
metal, plastic etc. up to a strength of approx. 1,000 N/mm².
REMS Turbo Cu-INOX is intended for sawing stainless steel pipes, copper pipes
and other materials as well as for removing burr from the outside and inside of the
pipes with REMS REG 10 – 54 E.
All other uses are not for the intended purpose and are prohibited.

The indicated weighted effective value of acceleration has been measured
against standard test procedures and can be used by way of comparison with
another device. The indicated weighted effective value of acceleration can also
be used as a preliminary evaluation of the exposure.
CAUTION
The indicated weighted effective value of acceleration can differ during operation
from the indicated value, dependent on the manner in which the device is used.
Dependent upon the actual conditions of use (periodic duty) it may be necessary
to establish safety precautions for the protection of the operator.
2. Commissioning
CAUTION
Do not carry the machine by the motor handle, but with both hands on
the stand.
2.1. Electrical connection
WARNING
Note the mains voltage! Before connecting the tubular circular sawing machine
or universal metal sawing machine, check whether the voltage given on the

rating plate corresponds to the mains voltage. Only use sockets/extension leads

with a functioning protective contact for REMS Turbo K and REMS Turbo
Cu-INOX. On building sites, in a wet environment, indoors and outdoors or
under similar installation conditions, only operate the circular sawing machine

the power supply as soon as the leakage current to earth exceeds 30 mA for
