Test the ram several times for proper operation before putting it into use.
Do not use the ram if it still does not appear to be working properly. Have
a qualified service technician service or repair the hydraulic system.
LUBRICATION
Inspect and lubricate the device when required. Only use quality hydraulic jack
oil to lubricate the device. Other lubricants may not be suitable and could
damage the device or cause a malfunction during use.
AIR TOOL LUBRICATION
NOTICE! Never use a penetrating oil to lubricate an air tool. Penetrating oil acts
as a solvent that will dissolve the tool's grease packing and may damage the o-
rings, causing the tool to seize or malfunction.

All air tools have an internal coating of grease to prevent corrosion during
shipping and storage. Remove this grease by adding a generous amount of
oil in the air inlet and then run the tool under no load until the exhaust
is clear.

Manually add a drop or two of oil into the air valve (#38) before each use
and after every hour of continuous use. The tool will not work properly
without lubrication and parts will wear prematurely.

Avoid adding too much oil as this can cause premature power loss and
eventual tool failure. A qualified technician will need to take the tool apart
and clean out the excess oil.

Apply a generous amount of oil to the tool before storing it for an
extended period of time (overnight, weekend, etc.). Run the tool for
approximately 30 seconds to ensure the oil is evenly distributed
throughout the tool. Store it in a clean and dry location.
STORAGE
When not in use for an extended period, apply a thin coat of lubricant to the
steel parts to avoid rust. Remove the lubricant before using the device again.
DISPOSAL
Recycle a device damaged beyond repair at the appropriate facility.
Contact your local municipality for a list of disposal facilities or by-laws for
electronic devices, batteries, oil or other toxic liquids.
IMPORTANT! DO NOT pollute the environment by allowing uncontrolled
discharge of waste oil.
