Assembly / installation

4.1 General instructions

ƒ
The meter must be installed horizontally with the dis-
play to the front and the connection on the top.
ƒ
Installation, shutting-down and removal of the meter
may only be carried out by suitably authorized and
qualified personnel.
ƒ
The meter may only be used in rooms intended for the
relevant application.
ƒ
Contact with oils and fat must be avoided.
ƒ
Repairs are only to be carried out by the manufacturer
or his appointed agents. As the meter contains no
mechanical moving parts, it requires no maintenance
if used for the intended purpose.
ƒ
The plastic housing of the meter must not be subject
to any mechanical stress during installation work.
Ensure that the plastic housing is not damaged.
ƒ
The tightening torque must be selected so that any
seal used is compressed in accordance with the seal
manufacturer's instructions. The torque must never
exceed 80 Nm for
