3. General description

3.1. Use

The pumps are suitable for conveying clean or soiled
water with abrasive contamination of sand or sludge.
Scope of application: e.g. gravitation drainage, dewater-
ing of construction sites, subways or sewers, emergency
use in the event of flooding. With chemically aggressive
components in the pumped medium, the resistance of
the pump materials used must be noted at all times. The
pumps are suitable for both mobile and stationary opera-
tion. Free-standing installation on a firm base is possible.
Use in slurp mode is permitted. The temperature of the
pumped medium may be up to 40°C, short-term up to
60°C maximum. The maximum density of the pumped
medium is 1,100 kg/m³ and the pH value may range from
6 – 8. In version "B", the pH value may range from 6 – 11.
The pump is made of different materials, depending on
the version. In version "B", the motor housing and the
pressure cover are made of gray cast iron. The outer
sheath and the filter are made out of stainless steel.
In the standard version, the motor housing is made out
of aluminum, the pressure cover out of aluminum with an
NBR coating, the outer sheath out of stainless steel and
the suction filter out of aluminum.

3.2. Types of Application

The pumps are designed for operating mode S S1 (con-
tinuous operation) with a max. switching frequency of 15
circuits/hour.

3.3. Construction

The submersible aggregate consists of the motor, the
pump casing and the suitable impeller. All important parts
are of generous dimension.
