Änderung aufgrund der neuen SI-Einheiten

Die bisher übliche Maßeinheit der Kraft, das
„Pond (p)", bzw. „Kilopond (kp)", muß in
Zukunft durch „Newton (N)" ersetzt werden,
wobei 1 kp=9,80655 N ~ 1 0 N ist.
Gemäß DIN 1301 wird das Newton definiert
als 1 N=1 kgm/s', d. h. 1 N ist die Kraft, die
der Masse 1 kg die Beschleunigung 1 m/s'
erteilt.

The unit of measure of forte, customary until
recently, the pond (p), or kilopond (kp), must
i n future be substituted by "Newton (N)" in
connection with which 1 kp = 9.80665 N (ap-
prox. 10 N).
I n compliance with DIN 1301 the Newton is
defined as 1 N = 1 kg m/s 2 , i. e. 1 N is in prac-
tice the forte which imparts to the mass 1 kg
the acceleration of 1 m/sec 2 .

equivaut ä la forte qui communique ä un
corps ayant une masse de 1 kilogramme une
